Information sessions in schools
TiNa has organized information sessions during student counseling classes for girls in upper level of comprehensive schools mainly in Espoo. The information sessions have only been organized for girls. This opportunity encourages girls to ask questions and to discuss the topic. Female students from schools and institutions in technology; Helsinki University of Technology, EVTEK University of Applied Sciences and Omnia Vocational College, have been present at the information sessions. They have told about their backgrounds, technology studies and their experiences of studying among boys. Time is reserved in the information sessions for general discussion and the pupils’ questions.
